Just renewed one of my domain names over at Godaddy. Found a discount coupon online for the renewal and that saved me $3.. not much but still savings. I just goggled for it and there it was. So, all in all I had only to pay $7.15 for another year. Not a bad deal at all!

It being a wet Sunday and all today, we decided to stay in. We woke up at 3pm, had a light lunch and both decided that Nandos was going to be today’s special.

Today was also a lazy day for me. Did not even vacuum the floor!! Ish ish ish! Oh well, all that fur would still be there tomorrow so what’s the rush right? I’m entitled to some off time too.

Anyway, back to the drawing board, got to do some research on gps tracking for Azwaj. God knows what it’s for though hah

Starting the day early today or rather finishing yesterday late. I finished my LJL EC round and perhaps now can start with my LLP EC. Just had yummy nasi lemak, extra rice. Heck with the cholesterol. Can always take my diet pills later if I decide to lose weight. Am wondering how the stall owner can give out so big portions of the cuttlefish..hmmm. Oh well, they must already be making tons of profit from volume I supposed.

My ulcers still giving me problems. Am drinking lots of plain water. How boring! And with straw! Feel like when I was in the hospital, what with the constant need to put on that ulcer medicine. My lips are dry and chapped from lack of licking my lips! Arghhh when are you gonna get better ulcers!!

Will probably retire after I finished with the EC round if Azwaj does not decide to go Low Yatt to go get Abah’s new laptop. Just as well, don’t feel like going out today anyway.

It was a few days into our wedding day when we decided that we were going to move the wedding from the banquet hall to the poolside. I remember we still couldn’t decide because March was a very temperamental month with unpredictable rain in the evenings but since the club that we were having the reception at managed to secure tents for the poolside for the day of the wedding, we decided we were going to be able to have it outdoor anyway… just the way we want it!

Wow, those were hectic days. I remember attending Bridal Shows to get ideas on what we wanted to have for the wedding. I remember meeting potential caterers, looking at portfolio of studios that provided make up artist just to see how well they do their bridal make up etc etc. Though it was fun, it was tiring and stressful and stress was one thing a bride-to-be does not need.

Nowadays, with technology, comes ease. Ease to get anything done right in the comfort of your own home. How you may ask? Well brides-to-be.. listen up.. Welcome the Online Bridal Shows! At the site, all you need to do is just download the 3D bridal software and meet up with the vendors that are exhibiting. Check out their services right at the comfort of your own home with a cup of coffee right next to you. Awesome right?

How I wished we had this in my time!!

My last trip to Langkawi, Malaysia was like in February 2003. We stopped by Penang first and then proceeded to take the ferry from Perlis to the beautiful island. It was a family trip and of course lots of pictures and I wanted to share with you these lovely pictures from the cable car ride we took from Gunung Mat Cincang.

According to the fable, the legendary Gunung Mat Cincang, Langkawi’s second highest peak was believed to have been once a being named Mat Cincang who turned himself into a mountain! Wow! Must have been one gigantic being eh..

Langkawi Langkawi Langkawi

langkawi langkawi

Boy, I sure hope they have some form or lots of generators to operate this cable car coz if something happened to the electricity supply up there, it’s no fun being stranded on the way to the peak! Anyways… enjoy the view from up there!

Do you remember all your firsts??? Your first best friend, your first boyfriend, the first time you put on makeup, your first high heel, your first swimsuit, even your first “A” in test at school? Seems so long ago eh!!

I remember the first time I put on makeup. I was 15years old and the occasion was Hari Raya. I went all out, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blusher and lipstick. I felt so grown up then with my hanging earrings, and my high heels. I remember feeling so pretty as well that all I wanted to do that day was to take pictures with all my relatives during our visiting sessions !

Ahh.. firsts… they really do make great memories!!

I’ve decided today that as part of my quirkiness of speaking fast and mixing two or even three words together, I’m gonna start my own LadyJava’s Vocabulary Vault. It’s gonna be words that I created “accidentally” but that sound really true and right that none is the wiser…nerd

Mangi = Mandi Wangi.Firstly apologies to my international readers coz some of the words might be in Malay like this one today which is “Mangi“.. which translates to “smell good after shower”.

Azwaj was teasing me about my late shower today and he asked me again and again if I already had my shower.. so I told him… “Dah MANGI lah” gelakguling

Be it good or bad, what are we without them? Memories make us smile, memories can also make us cry! I was going through some pictures back when I was a little girl and I can’t help but laugh at myself.

I know, I know, that’s weird but I can’t help it.. Was I ever that small? Anyway, with my new Miss VB (that’s my K850i phone, in case you are wondering ) and the extra flash memory that I just bought recently, I’ll be sure to take more pictures to serve as memories when I’m older. I may be laughing again at myself then…gelakguling

Oh by the way, this picture was taken when I was 18mths old.. and yes mommy made me wear the brown paper bag then too….menari

If you know me well, you know that as much as I love to blog, I love to make money while blogging. So this blog is going through the same fate as well.. lolzz… Don’t worry, just because I joined Bloggerwave, does not mean that I will only be writing paid post that are impersonal. Far from it, it will only make this blog more interesting with information that not only be useful, I hope, to you, my readers but also make it more lively read as well. I do run out of ideas you know…sengihnampakgigi

I wrote in my other blog that we are in dire need of a new sofa. The rattan one that we have currently is not fit for company and it is on the verge of collapse so much so that we are afraid to even move after sitting down. The only one who is comfortable enough on it is Anja!

How I wish we could just put on some slipcovers over it and the problem will go away but I guess it’s time to shop for a new one anyway. The problem is the kitties. Azwaj is thinking of getting steel ones so that they can’t use it as a scratching post…gelakguling.. Can you imagine my living area looking like a patio…hehehhe

If I have missed a day or two of blogging, it is not entirely my fault. You have Azwaj to blame for it coz he downloaded the game “Hell’s Kitchen” for me when I was away in Singapore. He knew I love the reality show and immediately downloaded the game for me when he found it online.

I only recently installed it and now am totally hooked. Aside from the obvious, which is to win the game, another great aspect of the game is that they actually share the recipes with us. I can choose which recipes I like and hit “Print” and presto, I can have it in soft or hard copy. I really need to get that list of best diet pills now to make sure I don’t gain any more weight once I try all the dishes there sengihnampakgigi!

I was going through my jewelry box today and found a gold ring that was given by my ex for my 25th birthday. I remember that day so well as it was a first piece of jewelery given to me by a man and I told him I would cherish it forever. I guess that perhaps that is why I still keep it though it no longer fits and I don’t really want to wear it any longer as I’m sure wearing it would not only bring back good but also the bad memories that I want to forget.

The question is.. what do or rather what should I do with it?

One of the other reason why I returned to SG last week was to attend my niece’s wedding. I tutored her when she was like 8 years old and here she is, all grown up. A pretty young lady with her knight in shiny armor.

For my cousin, this is the first wedding for her family and because it is also the first grand-daughter’s wedding for my aunt, you can imagine the grandness of the whole event. She had over 2000 guests on that day.

It was so much fun for me too as I was able to meet up with aunts, cousins, and all other kinds of relatives that I have not met up for so long. And my cousins who I used to carry when they were small, all had kids of their own! I’m getting so old eh, as old as that old dell memory stick that I had in my old laptop! gelakguling

Anyway… I’m glad that I was able to kill three birds with one stone on this trip back, so to speak, sent mommy to the clinic, attend this momentous wedding and get me Miss Velvet Blue…hehehe
