I may not celebrate Christmas but I’ve always love Christmas songs. Something about them always sounds so joyful and makes me smile. Anyways, I was going through youtube to find something of an acoustic version of any Christmas songs and I found this video from Colbie Caillat. I think it’s show that she performed somewhere and it’s a compilation of Christmas song and her own song and it’s awesome. I love Colbie Caillat and the guitar sounds great too (I’m not sure whether it’s an esp acoustic guitars at Musicians Friend but it sounds good).
Merry Christmas everyone.. be happy and have a great one with your loved ones!

I attended two weddings over the weekend.. and because I knew I’d be meeting tons of relatives that I hadn’t met up for a long time, I naturally wanted to look my best. Anyway, since I don’t generally post selfies of myself on the net, I thought I just share what accessory I wore instead on Sunday. I bought this necklace and earring set some time back while buying some sterling silver cuff for a friend.
Lovely right? I simply love it!

I value my time very much. I work hard and so every moment is precious to me…. be it for work or for leisure. So when I make time for you, means I value you and your presence. So please don’t take that for granted and don’t play games with my time. I expect REAL time not “after lunch” or “after dinner” please.
Be on time or let me know if you’re gonna be late so I am prepared for it. I will more angry at you if you arrive late as oppose to you letting me know you’re gonna be late.

I don’t think I will need any oxycodone detox for now as all these personal stress that I am under right now is enough to make me lose 5kilos in less than one month! I seriously don’t know if I should be celebrating but it does make me feel good in way. Some people eat more when they are stressed out, me on the other hand totally lose my appetite to the point where I actually feel nauseated and start vomitting. Bad but oh so true.
Oh well, my body is happy but I need to make my mind happy now.. Wish me luck!

Sometimes I wished I can just shut the world with these cheap v-moda crossfade m-100 headphones. Sometime I wished I can just lie down and not listen or think about anything. Sometimes I wished I can just lie with my eyes, ears and mind closed off to everything around me. Sometimes I wish I could not be me.

what am i feeling??
that feeling when someone has a set of keys and at any moment they can open the door and your life will change!
that feeling when there are dots on a clean canvas and you’re not sure if it can be cleaned or it will stain forever…
that feeling when you think you filled the puzzle but found out that there is still room for one more piece…
that feeling when you feel you you want to give up but something is telling you to fight..
that feeling that tells you this is not the way to feel coz you are strong..
that feeling that you tell yourself to keep in check coz you are overthinking stuff..
that feeling that you just feel like you died inside and wished that you did indeed died..
that feeling that you don’t know what the hell you are feeling and suppose to feel…

When preparing to go on a vacation, many consumers may want to augment their current wardrobe to include a few versatile pieces appropriate for mixing-and-matching with existing apparel. Consumers seeking such pieces should consider adding a sarong to their vacation ensembles; a sarong offers the wearer a diverse range of looks and effortless maintenance which is ideal for such ventures.
Sarongs are typically a large length of cotton, silk, or other “breathable” fabrics that present wearers with many different options. Worn often as a skirt, dress, blouse, and accessory item, a sarong is truly a multi-purpose garment. There are many reasons why buyers are drawn to these light and airy apparel items, and the overall look of a sarong is one of them. There is a very exotic look to these garments that is simply not found in comparably-styled sundresses, skirts, or kaftans. The appearance of a well-crafted sarong is sexy, effortless, and trendy.
Sarongs are offered by a wide range of retailers and found in a broad variety of styles, colors, and fabrics. The most popular may be the simple cotton variations which provide the wearer with easy laundering and minimal maintenance. Cotton sarongs also are cool and comfortable to wear. Fair Winds Sarongs are found online and have expanded their current selection to include some high-end variations on the conventional sarong that are quite exciting. From the unique features of this merchant’s “smoked” fabric, to the sheer indulgence of the silk offerings, this online vendor seems to have a sarong that is appropriate- and appealing- for wearers of all preferences.
When wearing an authentic sarong, the range of looks that can be achieved with this one garment may amaze some buyers. This diversity and breadth of styles makes these the ideal item to take on holiday, vacations, or a cruise- particularly when unexpected activities or events can occur. Furthermore, these light and thrifty items take up very little space in a suitcase or trunk, and often are wearable without any fuss or ironing needed. As a cover up poolside to a sexy dress for a cocktail party, sarongs will seamlessly meld with whatever they are paired with. Some may want to honor the simplicity and natural beauty of such garments by wearing very little- if any- jewelry or accessories. Others may choose to give their sarong style an elegant make-over with heels and sophisticated jewelry choices. Whatever the wearer’s preferences or tastes dictate, a sarong is a worthwhile investment for any wardrobe and in particular, offers those planning travel or vacations, an easy alternative to numerous ensembles.

Sweet endearing words like dear, honey, baby, babe, love, sweetie and darling or Malay words like kanda, dinda, sayang or yang, are generally reserved for your loved one. If you call everyone even strangers or someone you just met in your life (especially one of the opposite gender) these endearing loving words, then maybe you should call the ones you REALLY love just “OI!” to make them feel special and different.. Just my worthless two cents..

I am an internet shopper addict. There I admit it. Send me to therapy..lol
Although I must say so far my shopping has been limited to spa treatment, massages, facial and electronic stuff like my halogen oven. I have a phobia when it comes to shoes or clothing online because I always like to try those on for size you know. After all, these are stuff that you gotta wear and gotta look good on you right?
That being said, I have graduated, if you can say that, to shopping womens clothing online. I can’t help myself! The dress was just too cute.. lol! So I got to talking to the rep and she told me how to measure myself and all and I did. Well, I actually used a ribbon and measure it against Azwaj’s tape measure because I don’t have a tailor measuring tape.. lol! So after a few days of mulling over it, I took the leap and ordered. The purchase came with free delivery so that was sort of like an incentive.
Anyway, I anxiously waited for my purchase and when it came, I can’t wait to try it on. Whaddaya know.. boohoo the dress was too small for big me.. lol! Looking at the label of the dress it was actually a Medium size whereas my size would be more like Large or XL! Oh well .. good thing I was able to return the dress for full refund of another purchase. Now that I know what sizes to look for, I hope my next purchase would be a more pleasurable one.
Wish me luck!

Now, I am not delusional into thinking everyone is nice and sweet but to come across such nasty, poorly mannered and sarcastic group of people all at one scroll.. whoa..

Women who want a perfect look usually prefer to add some type of hair extension. One of the most popular hair extensions gaining popularity day by day with women is the human hair wig. What was once more popular for the African-American population is now quite popular with all racial groups. With the wigs being made from human hair, they have a more natural look. In most cases, a person cannot even distinguish the hair as natural versus a human hair wig. Unlike the other types of wigs, the human hair wig gives a person confidence and self-esteem.
The fashion world is full of women who adorn stylish and attractive human hair wigs. As a result, many women want to have that same elegance and appearance as these women have. Unlike your natural hair that takes a long time to mature, the human hair wig is instant leaving a woman with the desired look she wants in minutes. Even though human wigs are more expensive than other wigs, most women are very happy to spend the money for the perfect look they achieve with these wigs. Human hair wigs from AdventHair.com are definitely wigs that someone should check out if they are interested in a human wig.
Most women have always wanted to have smooth, long and gorgeous hair, and human wigs give them the chance to do just that. Since the wigs are so appealing, they make a woman feel more feminine and beautiful as well as increasing their self-esteem and confidence. For women with short hair, these adorable wigs give them the chance to achieve a perfect look if long hair is what they desire.
The days when human wigs were only affordable by the rich are long gone. Even though they do cost money, they are not that expensive. As a matter of fact, many women find that it’s actually cheaper to wear a human wig than to keep up with the cost of keeping their natural hair maintained. This is because natural hair requires hair cuts and chemicals to redo hair treatments.
Compared to taking care of natural hair, the process of taking care of a human hair wig is simple. While maintaining your natural hair involves the hair stylist and chemicals, the wig only needs an occasional clipping and some gentle brushing. The normal tools you might use for your natural hair, like hot rollers and curling irons, can be used on the human wigs.

Swimwear has been a popular attire for both women and men for centuries, with women’s wear perhaps being the most exotic. Today, swimwear is a multi-million dollar industry and continues to thrive even in the coldest of climates. Many well-known designers are incorporating swimwear into their work, and are featuring a wide-range of bikinis and one-piece suits in their shows. When spring and summer arrive, stores are often abundant in swimwear. This is especially true for online store fronts, as well, with more and more online stores coming to the forefront specifically geared toward selling high-end swimwear.
Online shopping has never been easier than it is today, with hundreds of stores now transitioning their merchandise to the Internet. Many stores exist solely online and are specifically catered to women’s swimwear. An example of online swimwear is L space swimwear at elitefashionswimwear.com. Physical stores are also creating new online stores that are specifically created with swimwear in mind. Most of these stores receive the majority of their views during the warm-weather months, with many of the profits being experienced during these times. Sometimes, online retailers will sell discount swimwear, making it easier for individuals to purchase high-quality designer swimwear at a fraction of what it costs.
Two-piece bikinis are perhaps the most popular swimwear items available today, with the one-piece being the second bet. The bikini is often sought by women who desire more freedom in their movement while on the beach or by the pool. Others choose the bikini because it allows fuller sunlight exposure to more areas of the skin. But perhaps most of all, swimwear is often chose for its fashion and sense of style. Trends occur each season when it comes to swimwear, and this can be especially true for the basic bikini.
Often, online stores will discount last season’s swimwear line to make way for the new merchandise. Online storefronts have become increasingly popular over the years for its ease of use and constant utilization of discounts. More people log on today to research the clothes they want before actually step foot inside a store. This is also another benefit of online stores, especially those that sell swimwear. Some online swimwear stores may feature a virtual dressing room, where a picture of the body is inserted into their 3D software. This software clothes the body in the picture with the selected bikini, two-piece, or other item.

I awoke in a beautiful suite at the Caesar’s Palace and a luxurious room it was. The bed was huge and comfy that makes me feel like I don’t want to wake up. The view was amazing and most importantly was the smell of coffee that Azwaj had probably ordered for breakfast. Ah this is the life I thought.. lol!
After rolling around and falling asleep for another 10minutes, it was really time to wake up. After all I was in Las Vegas! After breakfast, we decided that today we didn’t feel like venturing outside and decided to explore Caesar’s Palace instead. With their casinos, restaurants, shows and things to do at the property, we are sure we would enjoy ourselves totally today.
Because both of us were not really gamblers, we just loiter around the blackjack tables, watched as people played roulette and crabs and after we were tired of that, we tried our luck on the slot machines. We didn’t win anything and stopped after we both lost the money we set aside for that.
Then we checked out what shows we could watch. Celine Dion was in the house people. So yeah we bought tickets for that one. I mean what is Las Vegas if not to watch and experience Celine Dion at the Caesar’s Palace right? Since the show was going to be at 7.30pm, we had time for a spa treatment at the Qua Bath & Spa. We went for the couple’s massage and I did my nails 🙂
We returned to the room, had an early dinner delivered to our room and got ready for the show… and an awesome show it was.. Bedtime was midnight.
I had an awesome time in Las Vegas… in my dreams that is.. lol!

When we moved in this apartment, the kitchen cabinets were already there. We don’t actually know how long the cabinets were already in place but since it was still usable, we didn’t do anything to replace it. Azwaj just needed to get some welding supplies and reweld some lose hinges and all seems to be working fine. Recently though some of the door don’t seem to shut close and because of that the kitties are having fun trying to open the door. We even caught Awan with his head in between the door one door.. lol.. Oh well, time to tighten the hinges again I reckon 🙂

I’ve always loved dressing up. I love putting on beautiful dresses, makeup, , high heels shoes, jewelery, the whole works. I love being womanly and I love how it makes me feel… and that is why I simply love browsing though DressFirst website. In case you don’t already know, DressFirst carries a variety of beautiful dresses and gowns for all occasions, from prom to homecoming, from wedding gowns to your bridesmaid dresses, the site will spoil you for choices that you can pick from. The only problem with the site is that it won’t be easy for you to decide which one to buy!
I, for one, simply love this black and white “Empire Halter Floor-Length Chiffon Evening Dress With Ruffle“. It is not overly sexy but still shows off all those sexy curves. It also comes in a variety of colors too though I just happen to love this white and black combination a lot.
Another piece that caught my eye is this A-Line/Princess V-neck Floor-Length Chiffon Charmeuse Evening Dress With Ruffle Lace Beading. Wow, even typing it makes me feel all beautiful inside. lol! Click on the link and check out the details on this gown. Simply gorgeous and at USD210.99 and free worldwide shipping, it is definitely a steal! This dress is a must have for those that don’t want too much cleavage showing but still wants to have that subtle sexiness as the back is just covered with the lace. Exquisite!
Anyway all this talk of dresses remind me I still have not decided what I am going to wear for my interview tomorrow. I want to look nice but not too overly done to impress my interviewer. I hope I can dazzle him enough so that he won’t ask me too many difficult questions.. lol!

As I’v mentioned an in earlier blog post, I am attending an interview at Malaysia IMM for my permanent residence application on 3rd September 2013. So people wish me luck that I’m gonna ace it so I can move on the next level of the application.
The first few things that the officer told me I got to know are the Malaysia National Anthem and “Rukun Negara” so here’s the information in case anyone is looking..
1.Lyrics for Malaysia’s National Anthem ” Negaraku”
Negaraku….
Tanah tumpahnya darahku,
Rakyat hidup, bersatu dan maju,
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, Selamat bertakhta!
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, Selamat bertakhta!
2. Rukun Negara
- Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan
- Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara
- Keluhuran Perlembagaan
- Kedaulatan Undang-Undang
- Kesopanan dan Kesusilaan
I’ve no idea what other questions they may ask but I guess basic things like the name of the prime minister, Dato Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, National Flower (Bunga Raya or Hibiscus) or maybe info about about the flag, Jalur Gemilang as I found out below: (sorry its’s in Malay)
Anyway.. am off to do more research…
Oh by the way.. Happy Merdeka Day Malaysia! Did you guys catch the Google Doodle yesterday. Awesome right?

Unfortunately, stubborn fat is a problem that many Americans deal with. If this is something you can relate to, you know how difficult it can be to not only lose weight, but also to slim certain areas of your body. Weight gain can creep up on a person before they even realize it has occurred. Although the extra pounds seem to come easily, it’s far more difficult to make them go. Eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise are, of course, important for everyone, but even by following these healthy habits, some individual’s bodies have a hard time getting back to what they once were. If you are in this situation, there are innovative options out there like non-surgical liposuction that can help you get more from your lifestyle and get you the body you want.
How It Works
Traditional liposuction, which requires surgery, is still a popular choice for weight loss. It is effective, but some individuals would prefer to avoid surgery if possible. Fortunately, other liposuction options are now available. One of these techniques literally freezes fat away. It targets fat cells in a non-invasive way and eliminates them. No cutting is needed. Fat cells are targeted exclusively so surrounding tissues won’t be harmed. There are several important reasons this approach has taken off. One is that because it’s a non-invasive technique, there isn’t a risk of scarring. There is also no downtime. Short periodic appointments are scheduled, and after a few months, you’ll notice your fat begin to disappear. The dermatologist working with you will tell you how often your sessions should occur.
Less Risk
Every surgery, no matter how small, carries some level of risk with it. Why not avoid that risk altogether and choose a non-surgical liposuction technique? You can easily eliminate your fat in a safe, effective manner. Without having to worry about things like surgical complications and scarring, you can feel confident that your body will become what you want it to be. Dermatology center specialists will work with you to develop a treatment plan and help you feel great about your body.
You’ve probably tried all sorts of methods to try and remove that unwanted hair. Most women worry most about any hair they have growing on their upper lip and chin, their bikini zone, legs, armpits, and even their stomach and back. Some women are hairier than others; women that suffer from a hormonal imbalance called Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome often end up growing extra hair thanks to their condition. And thanks to extra pressure that women in American society face, any extra hair growth is considered unfeminine.
One great option that’s become available in recent years is Assara’s laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is a treatment that actually has the potential to give you permanent results. No other hair removal product can come close to giving that result. But it’s not for everyone; the costs for treatment are pretty steep, so if you’re considering laser hair removal, definitely do your research before you try it. Here is a little information about the most common means for hair removal along with how they measure up to laser hair removal.
Depilatory
Depilatory is just a fancy word for those hair-removing creams like Nair. These creams are not suited for everybody because the chemicals in it are highly irritating. The cream works by dissolving the hair and only is effective until new hair growth starts coming in. If you don’t have a skin reaction to the cream, then using this stuff is going to be your least painful option. Unlike laser hair removal, using Nair will only give you results for a day or two at most. It’s also scary to think about putting those harsh chemicals on your skin every couple of days,
Shaving
Shaving is the most common method women use to get rid of unwanted hair. Shaving is potentially dangerous since you’re using sharp blades to cut the hair. Its results only last a day or two, and then you’ve got stubble that makes your legs feel like a porcupine. Shaving is the least expensive, but the time spent shaving every day can really add up over a few decades.
Waxing
Waxing is a preferred option for women who want longer results with their hair removal. Some women wax themselves, but most go to a salon for a professional to do it. Waxing pulls the whole hair out, from the root, and so the result is smoother skin for longer. It is painful, however, and unlike Assara’s laser hair removal, the results are not at all permanent.

Pictures hanging on the wall of a home bring it to life. They make it feel personal and cozy. Many homeowners are unsure of how to incorporate pictures into their home décor, however. The best aspect of using pictures in your collection of wall hangings is that they can match any style of interior design. The picture itself can contain any subject matter. One modern way to capture the right image for a space is by placing digital prints on canvas. Homeowners and designers have discovered the limitless possibilities of this technique. Canvas adds a unique texture and depth to wall hangings that can’t be achieved with typical framed images.
Benefits
The advantages of using canvas over traditional framed pictures are not limited to these features. For individuals looking for a large picture to fill an area, canvas is an ideal option for a few reasons. The first is that canvas weighs significantly less than framed pictures. Additionally, it can display more of the image in the space, because there is no need for a mat or frame. Another benefit deals with cost. Having an image framed can be very pricey. The frame, glass, mat, and labor drive up the price. Canvas, on the other hand, is an economical way to capture an image of any size. And, without glass covering the picture, it eliminates glare and makes the picture feel closer and more realistic.
Versatility
Once an individual decides to use digital prints on canvas, the image and location need to be selected. These wall hangings can be created in a variety of sizes. A large landscape would look great in places like over a fireplace, in a waiting room, or in a long hallway. Or, a small or large collection of canvas prints can be used in any size of space. Pictures of loved ones may be spaced evenly in a straight line in an appropriate space, or one image may be split onto a few canvas prints. Whatever picture is being portrayed, canvas provides an affordable and stylish alternative to framed images. It can add character to any home or business.

Newport Beach boat rentals is the place to go when you want to check out of the world for a while or just to have some fun. There are paddleboards, kayaks, deckboats, cruisers, electric boats, and small sailboats if you are not planning on going too far from shore. If the ocean is where you want to be, then there are runabouts and fishing boats.
Paddleboarding
A paddleboard is kind of like a canoe without the sides, and you stand up on it to paddle instead of sitting in the canoe to paddle. Paddleboards are becoming quite popular as a cross-training tool for athletes of all kinds. Beginners should look for the heavier, wider paddleboards. Experienced paddleboard riders will have a lighter-weight, thinner board. To begin learning how to use a paddleboard, it is recommended that you start out in shallower water in a kneeling position on the board. Once you get stabilized and balanced, you can rise to a standing position. You only use one paddle and can change the sides you are paddling on depending on which direction you want to go. Your knees should be bent a bit and your hips should be what is balancing you, not your head movement. Once you get the hang of I,t you can begin learning different strokes. Renting a paddleboard is the best way to find out if you like it before you spend the money on the equipment.
Which Boat for Your Group
The amount of people in your group and what you want to do will dictate the watercraft you rent. If you are looking for a leisure day on the water, then a cruiser might be the best choice. They have a cover to give you a place to get out of the sun and they are meant to go slow and steady. If you want to fish, then renting a fishing boat is what you are looking for. You will have to have a working knowledge of that type of boat and be able to maneuver it safely in and out of port and through the open water. Newport Beach boat rentals can also give you an opportunity to check out different watercraft while you are deciding which type of boat you want to buy.

Many people visit a massage therapist on a regular basis to help their bodies relax. Both mental and physical stress factors can cause the muscles in your body to tense. Receiving a massage is a great way to combat these effects. Although all types of massage help to relax the body and mind, different techniques, or modalities, offer various benefits. Clients that are primarily looking for relaxation would likely enjoy a Swedish massage, which is a lighter technique that works the upper tissues. However, deep tissue massage is appropriate for clients that have aches and pains or simply want to achieve a deeper state of muscle relaxation. This technique can be useful for individuals with chronic pain or temporary pain that may have been caused by an injury. Click here to learn more about pain relief with deep tissue massage.
Deep Tissue
Unlike other techniques, the focus of deep tissue massage is to reach the deepest layers of your muscles and their connective tissues. A trained massage therapist will talk to you about any problem areas where you might be experiencing discomfort and tailor the session to your needs. Deep tissue is perfect for targeting any knots and muscle adhesions. By loosening up these tissues and breaking up adhesions, pain should lessen or disappear. Additionally, after your muscles have been worked, your flexibility and range of motion will increase. Individuals that experience pain from conditions like osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia can receive much relief from deep tissue massage.
Choose the Right Therapist
Working with the right massage therapist for you will help you achieve better results. A great therapist will be in tune with your needs from start to finish. They will learn about the pain you are experiencing and where that pain might be coming from. During the massage, they will ask for feedback so they know how much pressure your body can tolerate. This will help them to give the right amount of time to specific areas of your body. Your therapist should always be concerned with your level of comfort. Click here to find a licensed massage therapist, and help your body become free from pain.

Due to some complications, I got to redo my applications for my permanent residence status here in Malaysia. We have successfully submitted the application and our first interview has been set for 3rd September. I asked the officer in charge as to what kind of questions will be asked. She told me probably about the “Rukun Negeri” stuff, general info about the country and perhaps even sing the national anthem. She even jokingly told me to practise my pitching.. I was like “WHAT?” (lol). Maybe if I bring along behringer speakers at Musicians friend I will sound better? Oh well.. wish me luck

Staying healthy isn’t as simple as you may think. The food and diet industry does their best to offer magical weight loss solutions in the form of “super-foods” and “revolutionary” diets. Many people see short-lived success by slightly tweaking their daily routine. A bit more water, a bit less candy, and voila! Instant results. Basically, a short term lifestyle change brings about results. Unfortunately, people are highly likely to get right back into their old habits once they achieve their desired goals. This leads to a rebound effect. The only way to achieve permanent changes in health, physique, and fitness is to strive for permanent changes in lifestyle. This doesn’t mean giving up a certain type of food completely. It means eating mostly healthy foods and practicing moderation with treats. It also means being physically active for extended periods every day at varying intensities. Check out a website like www.nihf.com for more helpful information.
Make Time for a Healthy Lifestyle
Many people argue and complain about not having enough time for a healthy lifestyle. They don’t have the time to prepare their food let alone eat it all. This type of thinking inevitably leads to the people having to make time for being sick or injured from poor lifestyle habits. You can either make time for a healthy lifestyle or you will need to make time for the inconveniences that will undoubtedly come from living an unhealthy lifestyle. If you need to save time, buy yourself a powerful blender. You can blend up a full day’s worth of vegetables with a bit of fruit and drink it down in minutes. This can save you time and give you a healthy energy boost to kick start your day.
Move Your Body and Reap the Benefits
Arguably the most important part of a healthy lifestyle is staying active. Movement of the human body is a kind of language. People love to play and move their body when they are young. Then they grow up and stop moving as much for whatever reason. Once a person stops moving as much, their body acclimates to the amount of work it is doing. Muscles atrophy from disuse and posture deteriorates. All that is needed to gain the love of movement again is to start moving! Light beginner’s yoga and walking are both great ways to get moving again. Check out a helpful site like www.nihf.com for more details.

A wedding is an occasion to be remembered. A bride and groom want a quality photographer who can capture all the highlights of their special day. They expect the photos to be plenty and in crisp, clear condition. If you aspire to do wedding photography in St. Louis, be sure that you know what it takes to succeed. You’ll need to learn how to operate and practice with your equipment and how to take tips from the masters.
Equipment and Practice
As a photographer, you need to be very familiar with the workings of your instrument. Learn about capturing light through coming to understand more about adjusting exposure, ISO, and aperture. Know which exposures are suited to which lighting settings. Additionally, you should be familiar with your camera model’s flash system, memory storage, and battery duration. Be sure you practice with your camera frequently so you can know how to create a quality photo without fumbling around with the instrument too much beforehand. See if you can get friends to pose for you in various settings for optimal practice. Furthermore, you should learn how to edit photos. Explore the features of image editing software to get a feel for how to work it.
Learning from the Masters
All artists have benefited from looking at another craftsman’s technique. Thumb through photo magazines to see what shots you like and don’t care for as much. These publications can give you how-to guides as well. You may also benefit from online instructional videos for a quality demonstration on taking and editing photographs. Many aspiring photographers get a lot out of shadowing or assisting an established professional. You can see how a pro does it and incorporate these tips and techniques into your own craft. Not only will you learn about how to make quality pictures but also how to perform business interactions. You’ll see how to do sales, what costs are involved, how much to charge a customer, what shots are taken, and what equipment is needed. An internship is a good route to take if you want to take advice from a professional photographer who does wedding photography in St. Louis.

Mankind is from nature and nature does not belong to man. There are critters in large or small amounts in every home. Sometimes you just need a small trap to keep their population down. Other times you can have fun executing them yourself with an electrified bug zapping device. On rare occasions people have been known to live in harmony with nature. Unfortunately, finding a way to work with the critters instead of against them is an unlikely fantasy. Your home is your territory. It is your space to be free of the dangers of nature and relax. When the going gets rough with critters in your house, you might need pest control in St. Charles.
Set Up Your Home Defense Plan
You can customize your home defense plan with the services of professional exterminators. If you choose, you can have them set you up with a recurring defense plan. They will show you data to prove they are doing their job. For a regular fee, you can have a professional group of insect assassins keeping your home safe from invasion at all times. Controlling critter populations may seem like a task that you could do yourself. However, proper care and handling of extermination jobs takes lots of skill and experience. You should trust a professional unless you have a lot of time on your hands and a lot of experience.
Save Yourself from Large Damages
If you see one spider run across your ceiling, how can you tell if there are more? If you frequently spot critters in your home, you may want to let a professional investigate. A business that offers professional pest control in St. Charles will know how to search out infestations. Carpenter ants and termites will do more damage to a home as time goes by. Sometimes exterminators can save homeowners huge amounts of money by rescuing their home from carpenter ant or termite-related damage. Where there is one critter, there are most likely more. If you have a sneaking suspicion that your home may have unwelcome guests, seek out the help of professionals.

You would think at my age I would have gone for plenty of mani/pedi right? Well, you could not have been more wrong. I only had my first session on my last trip back home to Singapore (June 3rd)! lol!
Even that was not intentional. I had come across this free facial offer At Beauty Wellness, Singapore and they were having an offer on their mani/pedi and since I was getting the facial for free, I thought I used the money on mani/pedi instead… and was I glad I did. It was so enjoyable. Having someone washed your feet, cut your nails, clean up your cuticles and massage your legs.. OMG it was heavenly… and then it was done to my hands.. even more marvelous.. lol!
Would I do it again? Well as much I loved it, I doubt I would want to spend the full price SGD80 for it. I would probably look for more Groupon offers or something for my next mani/pedi session.

It seems like everyone is dissatisfied with their appearance in some way. You may complain that your eyelashes aren’t long enough or your lips aren’t full enough. If you have straight hair, you want curly hair, and if you have curly hair, you want straight hair. No matter what, ladies find something difficult about beautifying. If you are one of those who has curly hair, following are a few tips and styles you may find at a salon in Boston.
Choose Your Cut
If you have curly hair, you may fear cutting it short because of the round afro you could end up with afterward. So it is important to choose a cut that will work with your hair and your face. Stylists recommend keeping your hair at shoulder length or longer. This does mean that you will probably experience a lot more heat year round than your straight-haired counterparts. But it will be the most flattering for you, especially if you add in some layers so your hair doesn’t look too heavy on the bottom. Short hair can work too, if you keep it two to three inches long all the way around, and cut to mimic the shape of your head.
Use Product Wisely
If you have curly hair, you should avoid washing your hair too often. Use shampoo depending on the thickness of your hair—as little as once per week if it is very thick. Use moisturizing products that have ingredients like palm or avocado oil, or Shea butter. You can fight frizz by using lots of conditioner containing silicone when you shower. Let it sit in your hair for several minutes to absorb the moisture. You should also use a leave-in conditioner.
Other Tips
You should know that in order to fight frizz, you need products that seal the cuticle. Various creams and oils can help you seal the cuticle to keep out moisture. When it comes to styling, professionals recommend avoiding heat and using your hands minimally to let your hair air dry with minimal frizz. If you must use heat, use a diffuser. Stylists at a salon in Boston should be able to recommend the best products and other styling tips.

At a salon in Boston that includes spa services, there are many things you can partake of. In the salon, you can choose from all things hair, nails, and make-up, as well as all the products that go along with them. The spa offers body work, body treatments, tanning, therapies, hair removal, and facials.
Salon Services
You can have your hair cut, cut and blown dry, bangs trimmed, shampooed and styled, just styled, straightened, curls added, or an updo. If you want color or highlights, they can do that as well. They will start up and touch up locks. Balyage can be done in the salon and was developed in the 70s and is coloring and highlighting done by hand. Perms are available along with hair extensions and retexturing, restructuring, and repair treatments. If you are blow drying your hair all of the time, have too many curls, frizzy hair, dull hair, or find yourself using a flat iron often, you may want to look into a keratin treatment. The cost for a treatment varies depending on how short or long your hair is.
On your wedding day you will want to look fabulous. Not only do you want to look fabulous, but you want everyone in your wedding party to look fabulous as well. The technicians at the salon are prepared to get everyone in your wedding party booked on the big day and there is even an expert that will sit down with you to figure out what everyone needs and how long it will take. They want everyone to have a good experience and leave looking just like you want them to and maybe even better than you or they could have imagined.
Spa Services
Your wedding party would benefit from a visit to the spa before the big day. After a massage and one of the many body treatments, they could spend a little time bronzing their skin. With all the time, effort, and chaos that seem to go into wedding preparations, taking advantage of the spa and salon in Boston will tone the tension down. For hair and body services, a spa and salon is one-stop shopping.

Are you bored with your home? Maybe you’re tired of just a room? Do you like to daydream about mixing it up and switching things around so you enjoy your living spaces more? Have you considered making changes to your house, but are unsure of how or if you’ll do a good job? There are many options for interior design in St. Petersburg, FL, so whether you want to hire a designer or do it yourself, here are some interior design basics to get you started.
Basics
Color—color will change a lot about a room. You can set the mood by choosing a color that invokes certain feelings and give the room character.
Form—this is the shape of any given object and needs to be paid attention to especially in reference to the other forms in the room.
Line—the line of objects in the room is the direction they face or lead you to focus on.
Mass—the size of object that use up space in your room.
Texture—how things literally feel or also look. The textures in a room can change the overall feel as well.
Elements
Focal Point—this is the main point of a room and the place where a viewer’s eye is always pulled back. Whether it is the TV or bed, be sure to know what your focal point is.
Scale and Proportion—scale is literally how big an object is, while proportion refers to it in comparison to the other object sizes in the room. This will make a big difference in selecting furniture, wall hangings, etc.
Harmony and Unity—harmony is how well things work together and complement each other, while the unity is simply whether they all belong in the same room. Obviously each piece you select should be harmonious with the rest of the room and look/feel that it belongs there.
Contrast – this goes hand-in-hand with harmony and unity. The contrast is the difference between any of the basics mentioned above. Slowly add contrast to the room while being sure to keep the unity there.
Variety – this will keep the room from being dull and hopefully help you express yourself more.
Now you are can do your own interior design in St. Petersburg, FL, or find a designer to help you with any stage in the process.

Sometimes I wished I had paid a little bit more attention during music class back in school. I remember how I dreaded playing the recorder and how I always make excuses when it comes to practicing at home. My mom always encourage me to play because she loves music but I was more into singing then. If only I had listen to mom, I could very well get this new flute at WWBW and duet with Azwaj while he plays the guitar.. sigh..

Wow, first time in Singapore, haze level has reached hazardous levels of PSI 321!. I pray for rain so that the haze will clear up. I am also praying for the safety of my mom, my relatives and friends living in Singapore.
I am keeping a close look at the PSI level at this site. Azwaj is already telling me to go and grab my mom and bring her here!
When you decide to get engaged, there are plenty of things you’ll need to do. You’ll have to choose the perfect location for your wedding ceremony. You’ll need to pick out your wedding colors, the best gown and matching tuxedos for everyone. You’ll have to choose a caterer. You’ll have to choose a florist.
But before you can do any of that, you have to pick out an engagement ring. Moissanite engagement rings are beautiful. Shop conveniently online for something your beloved is sure to love and cherish forever. Because Moissanite has an online catalog, there is a huge inventory of in-stock products. While many local stores may only carry a few rings in a few sizes, Moissanite online offers the chance to find the perfect ring in the size you need. Look for something simple with small stones in the band if your girlfriend likes simplicity. You can also find more extravagant rings with large diamonds, emeralds or even sapphires if your girlfriend prefers something fancy. If you’re proposing to your boyfriend, find engagement rings just for him. Moissanite offers a huge variety of men’s rings that any man will love.
Find something in gold or silver in just his size. Order it online from the convenience of your home and, as soon as the ring arrives, you can pop the question and start with your wedding plans.

But when I hover the “SUBMIT button”. the link was to “http://www.designx2.de/wp-admin/validateprofilefree.php” and I noticed they didn’t even address me in the email. Yup folks, this is phishing attempt.
So be careful before clicking on any links and if the email is from your bank then they always address you by your name.

I love wearing sunglasses not only for protecting my eyes from the sun but also it makes you look so chic right? Anyway I used to wear them a lot back when I was wearing contact lenses but then I stopped when I got eye infection. Since then I either get the kinda frame with magnetic shades or those transition lenses that change color when I am in the sun.
Recently though I found a pair of sunglasses that go over my prescription glasses. It’s so cool and I love it! I mean it’s not like it’s ray ban aviator sunglasses or anything but then at least now I can wear my glasses and and sunglasses all the same time.. Awesome!

I am back from my nine days “vacation” from visiting my mom back in my hometown Singapore. It was nine days packed with activity though I nearly had a flu episode on one of those days (thank goodness it stopped coz I started stuffing myself with vitamin C..lol). Needless to stay me and mommy had fun. We had a facial session, ice cream session, persian food delivery and shopping session together. On my own I had an additional hair treatment session, mani/pedi session,a girls get together with a friend and a cousin and even close on one website deal!. Phew tight schedule but just the way I like it 🙂
I am now relaxed and recharged and ready to rock to roll on the work front. Bring it on 🙂

We’ve been eyeing this very nice sofa bed from one of the local store. The good thing about this sofa bed is that the structure is all made with steel or is it metal. Well, all I know is that the furkids won’t be scratching on those legs! However when we were there yesterday, the store assistant told us that it was no longer in stock and they don’t know if they will be bringing in anymore.. Argh.. you can just imagine my frustration right?
Oh well, I guess we just have to look elsewhere now. Or maybe we can just buy piano benches like this one. It looks like the leg is made of steel right?

I’ve been so sleepy lately and it does not help that the weather is so hot all the time now. I drink so much water that every hour I need to wake up and pee.. and when I wake up I drink again, which, you guessed it, wake me up again in another 2hrs or so.. arghh.. Anyway, I wish it will rain already instead of having only the gloomy clouds overhead which only makes the weather even more hot. I had a terrible nightmare last night.
I dreamt I was showering in a hotel bathroom and a huge rat appeared in the drain covers (I think that’s what it’s called, you know where the water get drained out?)! Anyway I was so scared I woke up screaming and Azwaj nearly dropped off the bed in shock.. lol!. I remember thinking while screaming.. “Why on earth didn’t the hotel install Cast Iron Drain Grates and made me suffer like this?” Yikes!
When I woke up I remember feeling so anxious but when I saw Azwaj’s face, I started laughing at his funny expression instead..lol

Shoes are fashionable, sexy, and often uncomfortable. Women feel like they have to suffer for their beauty, but that’s no longer the case. Foot Petals has developed a line of designer insole cushions to allow women to rock the shoes they love in comfort. The insoles are made from high performance urethane known as Poron, which has many benefits including being a shock absorber and repelling moisture keeping feet cool. It also keeps away bacteria and odor, which will allow women the comfort of going sockless in warm weather. They can kick off their shoes and wiggle their toes in the lush grass with no worries of a foul odor accompanying them. Foot Petals help with issues such as arch pain, sliding feet, and blisters from shoes rubbing against skin. They can be used to make those slightly too big shoes fit perfectly, and allow women to wear flip flops without developing painful blisters and raw spots between their toes. They come in a multitude of colors and can be used alone or in conjunction with other Foot Petals styles. The Poron never loses its shape and the insoles are recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association. They come with adhesive backing to insure they don’t move after placement. With many options, Foot Petals can be used in flats, heels, boots, sandals and other open toed shoes. Foot Petals shoe inserts are affordable, comfortable and best of all, allow women to continue their love affair with sexy shoes, enjoying the compliments without the discomfort.

When you are my age, and I’m not saying that I am that old but yeah, when you are in my age group, you tend to not make a big fuss about birthdays. I mean, I remember other people’s birthdays all the time, making sure I wish them happy birthday via text messages, facebook or twitter, or even a birthday ecard, but my own? … Well, it’s just another number to me and as the number gets bigger, I tend to not want candles at all on the birthday cake, for fear the cake might collapse under the weight of all of them – lol!
That being said, this year I had an awesome pre-birthday party. It wasn’t anything like the birthday parties long island that my overseas friends used to have when they were kids (great products to view by the way if you have kids), and it wasn’t exactly MY birthday, but the pool party was a day before my birthday so it seemed like a good enough celebration right? There was a tent, lights, decorations and even a stage which means entertainment.. and of course there was food. There was plenty of delicious food and drinks, and I told my Azwaj that if it was on my actual day, I would have bought a cake that night! And you know what? As I was looking at the lucky picks, my lucky draw number was called … so YES, I even won something in the lucky draw session that night. How awesome is that right?
I always love the number 44 (that’s me this year) and now it’s another reason to love it more. So far I’ve had an awesome party, won at a lucky draw and just earlier this month, I got a free all expense paid trip to Kuching, Sarawak. Yep, this year is looking awesomely fantastic!

continued from here…
After making sure my camera (by that I mean my Galaxy Note phone..lol) was fully charged, both me and Emila proceeded to meet up with the rest of the group from the Media Familiarization Trip to Sarawak downstairs at the lobby. Rose, our guide from Cat Tours, told us the river was nearby the hotel and so we will be walking to our destination. The weather was excellent for walking and it gave us an opportunity to look around and take pictures of the riverside area.
So here’s our ferry. Nice right?
The Sarawak River Cruise is an excellent way to discover Sarawak. With more than 25 historical landmarks to see, the cruise offers a 360º panoramic view of Kuching City. As of 1st April 2013, tickets prices for the Signature Sunset Cruise will be RM69.90 for adults and RM39.90 for children. Tickets will also now include the 1½ hour cruise with live commentary, cultural performance, free flow orange drink, kuih lapis and a set of their very own Sarawakian Black Pepper Chicken Rice.
Here are some of the pictures I snapped while onboard. There’s not much as I was too busy enjoying the real view.. Ah how I wished Azwaj was around with me.. the view, the breeze, the sunset, the dining onboard after the cruise really puts me in a romantic mood.. lol!
The Entertainment
So if ever you are in Kuching, Sarawak, make sure you check out The Sarawak River Cruise ok. I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Stay tune for our next adventure in Sarawak!
