On my last trip to Singapore, I visited my aunt who had just moved to her new place. She told me she found some old pictures and the blogger in me instantly perked up. Blogging material, I thought to myself.. lol! I went through her album and found some awesome old pictures that I wanted to borrow and scan. Unfortunately, I totally forgotten about it and left it on the sofa instead. boohoo…

However, this one that I’m showing here, I took using my camera phone because it was in one of those sticky album and I didn’t want to risk destroying it when I take it out. There are two pictures actually but I shall leave the other one for another post ok.

This picture was taken on the day that my aunt solemnization day. She’s the one in the middle. To the right is my mom and to the left is another aunt. I’m one of the kids.. Can you guess which one? hahaha

Goodbye January and welcome February. Wow! It seemed like only yesterday we welcomed 2011 and now the first month is already over.  Where did the time go?

Talking about time… Recognized these?

pager pager

Nope it’s not some new gadget or the new playstation 3 or anything like that. It is simply a pager. Back in those days when the mobile phone was as huge as a water bottles and its price range only allows the well-to-do to own one, this little gadget was what I used to remain in contact. People would page for me and I would call them back using a land-line somewhere or the public phone. Boy, do I remember those days.

Did you own one? I think I still remember my number.. lol!

I was going through some old pictures and found this one of when I was still a young career woman of 25 in Singapore. I loved that cubicle as I had a very nice huge window behind me that overlooked Shenton Way while the rest of my colleagues (except for the other Executive Assistant that was sitting next to my cubicle) only had wall to wall cabinets for their view…lol.. I also loved that whenever I needed to think about the monthly reports that comes as part of my finance job scope at the end of the month, I can just swivel myself to face the window and it’s like I’m at another place altogether.

While going through my personal boxes today, I found certain items from school that really brought back fond school memories. I found my Courtesy Badge that I received as one of the Courteous Student in our Courtesy Campaign back when I was in primary three. Can you believe I had to wear that for one month! lolz!! I also found my secondary school and junior college badges.

keepsake from schoolCourtesy Badge, secondary and jc badges,
jc tie pin and librarian badge

Isn’t it cool? I have left school for more than 30 years now and still just by looking at these items, so many memories come flooding in.. both good and bad redface!!

Check out the picture below.. can you guess which one is yours truly??! heheh.. no prize for winners though razz

I was cleaning out my hard drive today making space for the massive downloads I am anticipating when I saw this photo. This was taken of me during a night out on one Secretary Week nite. There was a show call Hunk-A-Mania at one of the local clubs and these guys were doing a “tame” stripped performance. Suffice to say, it was a night I would NEVER forget…;) Anyway, after the show we were given an opportunity to take pictures with the guys and so this was it.. I actually wanted to sit on the lap of the guy on the right (aiyoo so cutey I tell you!!).. but the queue behind me was so long that no lap-swapping was allowed! Lolzz!

 Anyone drooling yet??

And sorry about the blurriness of my face.. the lighting was really terrible in there….;)
