Sometimes....

Sometimes I wished I can just shut the world with these cheap v-moda crossfade m-100 headphones. Sometime I wished I can just lie down and not listen or think about anything. Sometimes I wished I can just lie with my eyes, ears and mind closed off to everything around me. Sometimes I wish I could not be me.

If Only I Play

Sometimes I wished I had paid a little bit more attention during music class back in school. I remember how I dreaded playing the recorder and how I always make excuses when it comes to practicing at home. My mom always encourage me to play because she loves music but I was more into singing then. If only I had listen to mom, I could very well get this new flute at WWBW and duet with Azwaj while he plays the guitar.. sigh..

I Love Hot Chocolate

I enjoy the occasional hot chocolate whenever I feel like I had too much coffee for day. So whenever I find swiss miss hot chocolate with marshmallows at the grocery shop, I know I got to get a few boxes for my pantry. Nothing like hot chocolate with marshmallow just before bedtime right? .. but then again marshmallows taste good with almost anything.. lol!

Disappointed

Oh how I wished I can do everything myself and not depend on anyone. That way I can avoid unfulfilled expectations and avoid disappointment.

Arghhhh! Sleeping away my broken heart  🙁  Good thing it’s raining and just nice for a nap.

Need My Safety Blanket

My mom often wonder how I can just sleep with one pillow. Yeap I sleep with only one pillow and it goes under my head. I don’t need a bolster and I don’t need a side pillow. I use them if they are around but I don’t need them to be comfy. I can just tuck my legs in a fetal position and doze off.

However I do need a blanket. It is an absolute must if the the weather is cold but even if the weather is hot, I still need my blanket to sleep under. I reckon it just makes me feel “tucked in”.. lol! I found some cute blankets over at http://www.redenvelope.com/kids-blankets-RKDSB and I’m wondering if I should get for myself.. heheh.. they look so plush and comfy right?

Never Enough Space

Who does not love extra storage space. I know I would. In fact, I think one can never have enough storage space and that even if I had a huge house to myself and given one of those tiger steel buildings, I could so easily fill them out both with my stuff.. lol!

I’ve been trying nonetheless to try to do some spring cleaning in time for Raya but the more I clean the more I seem to bring out of stuff from boxes then into them for storage.. Hmm.. something wrong somewhere there..hehe

Ugly Spot

Fugly pimple scar

I had this pimple that started to develop before the blogger gathering.. but then it subsided and just stop developing. However, it leaves this ugly spot on my cheek which I am hating to see right now. I seriously don’t know what to do with it. It’s not really a pimple so I can’t even use any acne solution to get rid of it so I am drawing a blank. Any suggestions?

Thrilling ATV

I wonder what it would feels like to ride one of these atv. I’m not really into sports but I love thrills and riding one of these sure looks thrilling.

The last time I was on something thrilling, or so I thought, was when I was in Genting Highlands and we took one of those go-cart ride. I was so looking forward to going round the circuit at full speed against my friends but unfortunately I got one that was less than optimum. Just so you understand the “less than optimum part”,  was when my friends were on the third lag, I was on my first! I was so pissed, I kept pressing on the speed control thingy till it hit the floorboard and still the darn thing won’t speed up! LOL!

Anyway, the atv sure looks like fun. Anyone ridden one before?

I Found My Perfume Box *

One thing about moving is that sometimes when you pack certain stuff, you label them generally and at that moment of time, you think you will know what those code words means when you unpack.. so boxes end up labeled as ‘vanity top” or “personal – no need to open” and then they end up not opened!

This was what happened to my perfume collection. They all ended up in a box that said “vanity drawers – do not open” and that’s how they remained “not opened” for three years!

As I was moving boxes to the new apartment today, I saw this “epic” box, as GP called it, and decided to just opened it. As I was slitting the tape, I noticed a nice scent emitting out from the box and I smiled. Ah ha! I thought. This must be the box that had my perfume in it! True enough.. there it was.. in a green container nicely tucked away! So ladies and gentleman..I present my lovely perfume.. nothing much or special but I was so happy I found it so I thought I share.. lol!!

GP!! This post is for you!!! heheh.. I found my box!!! Woott!!!

I'm a Handbag Freak

Ok… what’s inside my cute little handbag? As you guys know, Azwaj and I travel mostly by motorbike so it was really a necessity that I find something that would fit into the basket. After sourcing high and low, I finally found this lovely cream colour one in Singapore. Because of it’s size it has been a challenge to stuff all that I need in there..

I told you I’m a compartment kinda lady so you will not see anything straying in my handbag. Now on to the content:

1. Brand new brown wallet that I got recently from Isetan on my last trip back to Singapore
2. Free purple “Simply Her” card holder – also new – I got it from my magazine subscription. It’s cute and so handy.. now all my credit cards have a home. I also use it to keep my IC, ATM card, drivers license, MyEvo business cards and some cash in there too… just for those days that I don’t feel like carrying my handbag.
3. Compact powder
4. Lipstick – in the lipstick holder
5. Ventolin Inhaler
6. Handheld fan – for those hot days
7. Miss VB and her case – my phone and camera
8. Pen holder
9. Medicine pouch – I have panadol, antacid pills, allergic pills, plaster and nail clipper

Since GP loved my fan so much.. I thought I’d take a picture of it all spread out in it’s beauty.. and it is a beautiful fan… don’t you agree??

Memories...

Be it good or bad, what are we without them? Memories make us smile, memories can also make us cry! I was going through some pictures back when I was a little girl and I can’t help but laugh at myself.

I know, I know, that’s weird but I can’t help it.. Was I ever that small? Anyway, with my new Miss VB (that’s my K850i phone, in case you are wondering ) and the extra flash memory that I just bought recently, I’ll be sure to take more pictures to serve as memories when I’m older. I may be laughing again at myself then…

Oh by the way, this picture was taken when I was 18mths old.. and yes mommy made me wear the brown paper bag then too….

I Enjoy Being With Me

I do.. Really! Always have and always will.

This past week since Azwaj gotten this onsite job at the client’s, I decided that I will just hang around the house for a while. Yes, I am a housewife but most of my time is spent at Azwaj’s office coz he just can’t bear to be away from me..(yeah rite!..lolzzz).. Anyway that’s just the way it is. He would leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to pick me up for lunch and I would stay at the office till whatever time he leaves, which can even be in the wee hours of the morning…

Since last week however, he has been stuck at TTDI for this major project that he’s gotten just before the Chinese New Year and since I can’t jolly well hang around at the client’s place, I stayed home instead.

And I absolutely loved it. You know, so many of my SG relatives and friends were absolutely surprised that I can actually be a housewife knowing how I was before I moved here. They were all like “aren’t you bored..no kids some more!”. My answer now and is.. “hello!.. if you can’t enjoy your own company, how can other people enjoy yours?” and that normally shut them up..lolzz.

But seriously. I enjoy my own company. I have so many things that I want to that I simply can’t do when Azwaj is around. Things like putting on my facial mask, putting on henna on my fingers or simply just putting a peel on my nose for that darn blackheads! Not that I can’t be myself when I am with him.. but it’s just a woman thing that I do to be pretty.. No need for him to know the process and as far as he’s concern.. I always look lovely…lolzz..

And there’s always that time when I just want to relax in front of the tv to watch the programs I love like Travel and Living or the AFC or E! Channels on Astro.. channels that he won’t normally want to watch and I always let him win with the remote control (aren’t I the good wife?!…lolzz!)…

So last week had been great.. this week I pretty much have fallen into a routine…Next week? Who knows?? I love being with Azwaj too!!! Lolzzzz!
