So I talked to Azwaj about it and he agreed so off we went to my optician. After trying on numerous pairs (apparently the frame got to be of a particular measurement) and taking pictures of myself at the shop (I am blind as a bat so Azwaj will take picture of me with the frames and I will look at it properly with with my glasses on), we decided on the one that looks best on me.
I can’t wait to get it but it seem since my prescription is sort of unique, they got to special order the lenses from the States which means I will only get my glasses in two weeks time.. Oh well something to look good in the New Year right?

I love my gadgets and this is my latest buy. A Yellow USB Fan. I meant to buy this to replace my pink USB fan that I used in Singapore but I love this yellow one so much that I plan to keep this at home and buy ANOTHER one to replace the pink one. hahaha..(lucky for me it’s cheap.. only RM16.50)

I just loved the internet. Not only do I get my “morning paper, I also can get information on indexed annuities, stock price (not that I have any shares anywhere) and of course my favorite activity, shopping!
Speaking of shopping, Azwaj did some shopping too, on Ebay to be exact, and one (or two coz he bought one for me too) arrived today. It is a 5 in 1 wireless headphone. I am loving it so much coz now I can walk around easily while I am watching my “boldie” episodes..hehe.. Thanks Azwaj!

Have I told you I got a new phone??!! Well I did.. Yeay!!!
The phone that I am using for my Singapore number, the Sony Ericsson keeps hanging on me, so I reckon it’s time to get a replacement. I wanted a good phone but don’t really want to spend too much on it but I do know one thing.. I wanted a HTC phone because I simply love the internet passthrough feature (works like reverse tethering where you share your pc internet connection with your phone via usb cable) that it has.
So I shopped around online like some sort of yo yos, bouncing from one shop to another and found a store in Singapore that sold the HTC Rhyme at SGD390 which is relatively cheap as even in Malaysia, the cost is still around RM1400 (thereby saving me about RM600!).
Anyway, here she is.. I would have loved to get the plum color casing as advertised but the shop only has this greyish green one but at the price I got I am not complaining.
htc rhyme has its own docking station
HTC Rhyme, made specially for women, comes with a charm (that can dangled outside your handbag) that when attached to the audio jack will blink whenever you have a call. Handy to have when your phone is buried inside your bag somewhere. It also has it’s own docking station that can be used for charging and listening to your MP3. Super awesome!!!

This time around I asked to see if they had any comfy pants that I can use while travelling back and forth to Singapore. The sales assistant showed me a few and I feel in love on how one of them felt. It was so comfortable and sexy too.. I call it my sexy coach riding pants now (it looks somewhat like the picture on the right).. lol!

Each time I go back to Singapore and make full use of my laptop, Miss Fly, she always dies on me after about 4hours use. I am not sure if it’s because her time is nearly up or if it’s just the the laptop cooler that I’m using that is not working. She doesn’t behave like that when I’m using her at home in KL.
Whatever it is, I am on the lookout for best buy laptops. I’ve been actively looking at the laptop specs and have narrow down to two that I really like. Now I just need to run them past Azwaj to see what he thinks.

Anyway, though I use my handphone for a lot of my work, I also use it for play and currently I am busy playing Draw Something with bunch of friends from facebook. A friend invited me to join her today for a member only sales preview over at SOGO KL. Since I was in need for some some retail therapy, I gave a resounding “YES”. We left as as early as 9.30am to avoid the traffic jam and also we thought, the early we get there, the better since it is a Saturday we could avoid the massive drove of people that we suspect will start coming around noon.
We were right. There was not many shoppers yet so the crowd was bearable. My friend and I split up coz she was looking for children and home stuff while I head straight for the bag and shoes department. It was crazy I tell you, prices was slash up to 70% on some items. I was having a field day.
Anyway, here are the stuff I bought. I am loving it!

My Awesome New Toy – Galaxy Note

When I first saw the Galaxy Note, I was in love with the features.. I love the S-pen, I love the idea that I could screen capture anything and write notes on it. I love the big screen and I love that there is a second camera to it! Bottomline was I LOVE it.
However, I already have a fantastic phone that I love, the HTC Desire HD and I was seriously weighing the pros and cons before deciding whether I should really get the phone. Azwaj solved the problem for me. He told me that he will buy me my dream phone and he will, instead of buying his own new phone, take over ownership of my HTC phone. OMG! I squealed in delight! lol!
So on 28 December 2011, off we went to Low Yatt Plaza to get this super awesome dream phone of mine. I got an additional 16GB memory card and a beautiful pink leather flip cover to protect my lovely investment 🙂
So yeah.. a fantastic new toy for the New Year for me! I am having so much fun with this phone that at least it distracted me a bit from my Unifi internet problems.
Total cost for my brand new phone was RM2550.. worth everything penny! THANK YOU my darling Azwaj!!!

For the first time since I started the Music Monday meme 163 times ago, I actually forgot to publish my post at midnight this morning. Blame it on Raya, blame it on being sleepy, blame it on me.. lol! Anyway I only got the post out at noon, talk about late..haha…
Anyway, I walked so much yesterday that I was glad I had my comfy shoes on. It might be easyspirit shoes but it does the job. Yeap, there is a lot of walking for me whenever I go back. I think my “exercise” only happens while I’m back in my homeland.. hehe..

I was on my date with my two main men on Thursday when I saw this lovely ring in one of the shops at Ampang Park. It was calling out to me on the display shelf and under the bright red light, it was simply too difficult to resist. Long story short, this lovely piece is now what I call my Night Owl Ring 🙂

It feels like such a waste to switch on my aircon when I work alone in my home office. Though we have a ceiling fan, I normally have it on speed one as speed two will make me start to sneeze and make my body achy from the too strong artificial breeze. However speed one is really slow that sometimes I wished I had one of those redmax blowers instead to keep me cool.. lol!
So when I found this cute little USB fan at Carrefour today, I couldn’t resist from buying it as it will definitely solve my problem. It is handy, cute and most importantly mobile so that when it gets too “breezy” I can point it to another direction while still getting the breeze. Awesome right? What is more awesome is that it only cost RM20! I thinking of buying another one for my SG home.. lol!

I can’t believe I’m 24years old already this year! lol!.. Actually you should turn the number the other way and that is my actual age. Usually for my birthday I would buy something nice for myself simply because I love ME. lol!
Last year I bought a nice handbag. One that till today still remain my favorite. This year I bought a new handphone, HTC Desire HD to reward myself for a job well done. However I still have not complete the accessories for that. For instance, it is still lacking a gorgeous cover for protection. I also think I need additional battery and a desktop charger.
Perhaps after this I will go stop by at Coupon Chief and see if they have any coupons for the above items. I understand being one of the largest databases of online coupons on the net, they have over 50k coupons for over 15000 stores. I just saw a Cellular Factory coupon that would give me 15% off any order. OMG! If I owned a iPhone, I will go crazy with at the site.

I basically just need one to replace the current pan that I have been using for the last 3 years. I want one that is non-stick, not too deep, and with a lid, preferably glass so I can see my food cooking.. heheh. My luck with pc haven’t been good lately. First my laptop, Miss Fly, died on me. Then my deskop starts giving me problem. Sometimes, it beeps whenever it’s switched on. A is worried that it might be a hardware problem and we may need to change the motherboard or the memory. I hoping it’s the latter as that would be easier and cheaper too. I am a very heavy user of both my desktop and laptop. There are times when they are switched on like 36hour straight without switching off. Perhaps I should have an Industrial pc instead of a home one eh? sigh…
