Father Knows Best

When I was 21 and started working, my late father bought me an endowment policy that would mature when I turn 45 years old. At the time, I thought 45 was so far away and it was such a long time to pay premiums.

Now at 40, I kinda wished I had not let it lapsed. If I had continued to pay the premium which was meager I would have had SGD30,000 on my 45th birthday which would be in only 5 years!! That would have been so sweet!!

Oh well.. so for now.. I just bite my fingernails, and day dream about the money and continue paying my term life insurance that would expire in 5 years time instead.. sigh…..
